History of Doghouse

Doghouse Poker Club is in Cypress, TX. A suburb just northwest of Houston. It was opened in December of 2021. The owners launched the dream in 2018. It is a family-owned and operated business. The Club evolved around the love to play poker as a family with the owners. When opening and creating Doghouse they wanted to make it a place where everyone from beginners to well-experienced poker players felt welcome. On any given day, you can walk in and feel welcomed by staff and the club’s regular members. Someone always says “Welcome to Doghouse” as you enter the door. Doghouse Poker Club is the “Cheers” of the Poker world, here in the Houston area.

This poker club has a unique vibe and offers a full bar that even non-poker players can enjoy. We also offer a full kitchen with a wide variety of delicious food prepared fresh and made to order. While you are playing any of our cash games Doghouse Poker Club offers you a complimentary meal of your choice. In addition to a complimentary meal cash players also may indulge in two complimentary beverages per hour—anything from a good mixed drink to an ice-cold beer or bottle of water.

Doghouse offers tournaments seven days a week. Our most popular tournament is our TOP DOG. This is a once-a-month tournament. Our VIP tournament players receive one free entry into this tournament. All our tournaments offer a guaranteed prize pool (with a minimum of 12 players). Our cash games range from No-limit Hold’em with a minimum buy-in of $100 to Pot-Limit-Omaha with a minimum buy-in of $200. Ask about our Daily promotions.
